The River Laune which runs right beside our property is famous for high numbers of Salmon, Sea Trout and Broun Trout. The river provides some excellent fishing opportunities and we offer free fishing to all guests.
The river is 14 miles long and it drains the lakes of Killarney into the sea.
The fishing is good for the whole summer and a lot of big fish are caught on the fly in the month of September. Night fishing is particularly good for trout and is more productive than fishing by day which is good also.
The Salmon Fishing Season is from 17th January to 30th September.
The Sea-Trout Fishing Season is from 17th January to 12th October.
The Brown Trout Fishing Season is from 15th February to 12th October.
